House of Ayura is operated by Ayura Limited, Hong Kong, and its associated entities. These conditions apply to enquiries, appointments, stone acquisitions, and bespoke commissions.
Enquiries carry no obligation. Appointments are by arrangement, in person or virtually. Nothing is binding until a piece or a commission is confirmed in writing between us.
Every stone is sourced from Ceylon, independently certified, and its origin and treatment disclosed in full. The certificate accompanies the stone. Where a stone is unheated this is stated, and where any treatment exists it is declared.
Prices are confirmed by written quotation, valid for a stated period. We accept payment by bank transfer, and by other methods by arrangement, in major currencies. For a bespoke commission a deposit is taken to begin work, with the balance due on completion.
A bespoke piece is made to order, to your approved stone and design. You approve the stone and the final design before making begins. Because each piece is made uniquely for you, a confirmed bespoke commission cannot be cancelled or returned once making has begun, save for a fault in our work. Designs and drawings prepared by the house remain the property of the house.
Pieces are delivered in person or by secure, insured courier. Title passes on receipt of full payment, and risk passes on delivery to you. Customs and duties for international delivery are handled and confirmed in advance.
As a private house we do not operate a retail returns desk. A finished, non commissioned piece may be returned by prior arrangement within a reasonable period if unworn and accompanied by its certificate. Bespoke commissions are not returnable except for a fault in our work. Where statutory rights apply to you as a consumer, those rights are unaffected.
For significant acquisitions, in line with our obligations and standard practice in the trade, we conduct identity and source of funds verification. This is handled privately and in confidence.
A piece made by the house is cared for, cleaned, and repaired by the house. Details are set out in Client Care.
These conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you are resident.
